“You Kill Me” is a movie from 2007 starring Ben Kingsley, Tea Leoni and Luke Wilson. It is essential a hybrid type comedy.  By combining an interesting character study and situational comedy that at times borders on black comedy but never crosses the line into black comedy. It makes for an interesting movie that lacks in action but has a good solid dialog from beginning to end. Ben Kingsley does an interesting job in moving the character Frank through the movie while keeping him grounded and on the brink of sobering up. Both Tea Leoni and Luke Wilson did a very good job in backing up Ben and overall the movie was interesting but was mostly a slow affair that was more focused on character development then that of comedy which it was supposed to be. Overall I’d have to give it a 7 out 10. It’s good just not that good.
